We had a brilliant time on Sunday 12th May at our Alive youth event. The real highlight of the evening was having a 17 year old who attends one of our Pulse groups as our guest speaker. She spoke so confidently and engagingly about the Armour of God and challenged us to make sure we are putting on our spiritual armour to help us through day to day life. We also loved having some friends from Heswall Parish leading us in worship. We introduced a new game in the social time, before and after the main event, which went down a treat. At one point we must have had at least 15 people playing Spikeball together.
Next time to celebrate it being a summer packed full of sporting events, we have Mike Swanson from Christians in Sport joining us. From 7pm, Mike will lead us in some sports activities and our usual games will also be on offer. We will then go into a time of worship led by members of Maitland Church and Mike will share a short message with us.
