To continue and grow our God given mission of reaching out to young people with the Good News of Jesus, we must see an increase in regular donations.
Without this necessary growth in funding, we won’t be able to continue to develop and expand our work with Wirral churches & schools.
Working with Wirral churches & schools holds a special place in our hearts, and we are eager to continue.
To sustain our efforts, we are launching this fundraising campaign and are aiming to raise an additional £2500 monthly.
Achieving this goal is feasible by finding 500 supporters willing to fast from something once a month – be it a Starbucks Latte, or a Chippy Dinner, or even your weekly choccy bar – so that £5 saved can be given to Wirral Youth For Christ each month. We know this will be a sacrifice, and we invite you to take an active role in the mission God is calling us to by not only giving to the work, but by also fasting and praying with us as you do.
Although 500 supporters may seem like a large number, considering Wirral has over 100 churches with varying congregation sizes, it becomes a realistic target. While we aim to secure 500 supporters fasting and giving £5 monthly, we welcome any contribution amount, whether more, less or an increase from current supporters.
If you are already a regular giver, are you able to increase your giving by £5 a month by joining us in fasting & praying?
If you are a church who already supports us financially, instead of increasing your monthly giving at a time when we know many churches are struggling with rising costs, are you able to rally a group of individuals from within your church to all commit to fast, pray and give £5 a month each?
All this being said – please know that we do recognise and acknowledge the financial challenges many face.
