We love hearing stories from our Pulse lunchtime groups and we have been so excited to hear the amazing things God has been doing through our groups this term that we needed to share them with you:

Baptism on Easter Sunday!
A few weeks ago, I (Emily) visited a church and was chatting to their youth worker. She told me how one of their youth had been attending one of our Pulse lunchtime groups and had started bringing friends from the group along to church on a Sunday morning. This week, the leader of that group told me that one of those young people who has started going to church recently is getting baptised on Easter Sunday!

Reading the Bible
This week at one of the groups that I help lead, one of the young people told us she had started reading the Bible as one of the other students had sent her the Bible app. She asked us questions about what she had read and we suggested maybe starting by reading one of the Gospels.  Another girl then asked how she could get a Bible as her family doesn’t have any at home, so we told her about the Bible app and offered to find a physical copy she can have when we are back after Easter.

Thriving Groups
At the start of this term, I sat down with one of our Pulse leaders who said they only had a couple of young people attending their group. We discussed how to change up the sessions to attract new people to the group. Since then we have been praying for that group and they have made the sessions more interactive. It was great to speak to that leader again last week and hear that day they had 20 young people attend the group!
