Are you part of a local church on Wirral? Do you work with young people in your church or local community? Then this youth leader training day is for you! Whether you have worked with young people for years, or you are new to youth work, you volunteer or you are paid by your church, we wanted to provide a training day that will inspire you to grow in your youth ministry practice.
We would love to invite you to Rebuild, Restore, Renew as together we seek to answer the question of how do we engage with young people who are relationally deprived and spiritually starved, growing up in our challenging and changing culture?
Isaiah 61 speaks of the restoration and mission of God’s people. We believe that as we carry out God’s mission, we will see God bring new life and light in brokenness and darkness.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Isaiah 61:4
This training day aims to;
- give youth workers space to seek God for what their part is, as we seek to reach out to young people and be inspired to carry out His mission together
- hear new insights in the current world of youth work
- be challenged to try new things that impact the lives of young people in this digital driven world
- give youth workers an opportunity to connect with others on Wirral who are doing similar work
